It is the Mission of The MPTF to support and facilitate empowerment as a process aimed at changing the nature and direction of systemic forces which marginalize women, girls and other disadvantages masses in a given context. The focus is be on Equality, Justice, Right to Livelihood and Sustainability.

VISION:

Healthy, Empowered People with Rights,  who  are able to work  through the Vicious Cycle of Ill-Health and  Poverty-- incorporating International Resolutions & United Nations Millennium Development Goals to be accomplished by 2015.

OBJECTIVES:

To FACILITATE  Capacity Building of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO), through Training, Consultation, Exchange of Information, Networking and Liaison Activities.

To PROVIDE assistance in writing Grant Seeking Proposals and accessing National  and  International Resources.

To PROVIDE grants for  Innovative Program Models based on Structural Analysis at Micro & Macro levels, Sustainable in nature and focused on Mainstream Disadvantages Women & Children   including  Integrated Holistic Health Care, Disabilities & Nutrition, Community Development, Non-Formal Education, Economic Empowerment and Poverty Eradication Programs.

Poor women, children & other disadvantaged groups in the  context of Health,  Physical & Mental Disabilities, Poverty Driven Deprivations,  Gender Violence with  gender sensitive/ holistic  approach.
